Sue`s aim is to pass on the crafts of spinning, knitting, crocheting, weaving and felting to people from all walks of life. She travels, spending her time on the boats in England, visiting her family and friends in Switzerland and also taking time out in Carriacou in the West Indies. It is here on the sea front, that she grows her own organic cotton and offers holidays to those interested in aquiring or refreshing skills in these crafts. . | ||
Two
weeks at a glorious private beachfront residence with your
time split between spinning, dyeing, weaving, felting etc., or simply
relaxing in the shade. Visit the Indigo Well Museum and tour the island
of Carriacou. Price includes B&B accomodation, and all flights Frankfurt-Grenada-Carriacou & London-Grenada-Carriacou
and transfers to and from Bogles Roundhouse. |

Bogles Roundhouse
is where the workshops take place and serves as your private
restaurant when required, and is in itself a piece of artistic architecture.

About
Sue Russell Sue has been involved with textiles and craftwork since learning to knit as a young child, and since then she has mastered spinning, weaving and felting in many different cultures using local fibres where possible. In the West Indies she grows her cotton and from it produces assorted knitwear and woven products and at the present time is trying to promote organic cotton growth on the island of Carriacou. |
